As the Chief of Police for the City of Fort Morgan, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Fort Morgan Police Department’s website.

Our Department consists of approximately 28 sworn officers and 10 civilians delivering services to our community.  We operate under a community policing and problem solving philosophy, which keeps us focused on our community partnership responsibilities.  The Department, in cooperation with its citizens it serves, strives to meet identified objectives toward the goal of enhanced public safety administered in an efficient and cost effective manner.
 

It is our desire that the information shared with you in this report will provide you with a better understanding of the human resources and operational capabilities of our agency.  Please take a few minutes to learn about FMPD’s divisions and services.  You will find that our employees are a dedicated, well-trained, and enthusiastic group of professionals who take pride in their work.  We are proud of our accomplishments; however, we also recognize none of our strides forward could be made without the excellent support received from the members of our community.
